Baustoff Union München: PRM creates parking regulations on a cramped site
Parking spaces are essential for a building materials store, as bulky and heavy goods are unloaded and loaded here every day. The Munich branch of Baustoff Union in Wasserburger Landstraße even has two separate parking facilities, each with its own entrance and exit.
However, these were not only used by the company's own customers: The large number of unauthorized long-term parkers posed a real problem, as there were fewer and fewer parking spaces available for the company's own needs. Some long-term parkers even used the parking spaces well beyond the opening hours of the builders' merchants.
In close consultation with the client, a system with four license plate recognition cameras was installed. Clear signage in the parking areas provides information about the applicable parking conditions in order to avoid misunderstandings as far as possible.
